Bill Carico's Tennis Camp

affiliated with Campbell County Parks and Recreation Dept.

Tennis is a great game that you can play your entire life! Join us this summer and learn how to have fun playing tennis!

This camp deals with forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, overheads, and drop shots. We cater to beginners and teach them the basics from the ground up.

Coach Bill Carico will lead daily teaching sessions at the camp. He coached tennis four years (2007-2010) at Lynchburg College, both men and women. He still plays tournaments and is ranked by the USTA in Men's 55 age group. In the last 3 years he has been ranked as high as 3rd in the state of Va in singles, and 2nd in the state in doubles. He won the Virginia State Clay Court Championship for his age group in 2010, the same year his USTA doubles team represented the Mid-Atlantic Division and finished in the top 8 at the national championships held in California.
